There are so many gorgeous wedding venues in Denver, and I just had to share my favorites list! All of these venues have beautiful outdoor spaces that make for stunning backdrops for your wedding portraits, ceremonies, and receptions. Not only are they gorgeous, but they are all within an hour of Denver, which is perfect if you have guests coming in from out of state. So let’s dive into my favorite outdoor wedding venues in Denver!
My Top Wedding Venues In Denver That Are Perfect For Outdoor Ceremonies!
Woodlands in Morrison, Colorado
Woodlands is a spectacular modern-rustic barn wedding venue in Morrison, Colorado! I love that this venue is run by a family and how close it is to Denver! It is only about 30 minutes away which makes for easy planning and coordination on where your guests will stay. Woodlands has beautiful grounds. This makes for an awesome setting for your outdoor wedding ceremony that looks out on miles and miles of pine trees. They also have an indoor modern barn-style reception area. One of my favorite parts about this Denver wedding venue is that the white interior of the barn makes for bright and natural looking photos! Not only does the venue have pretty grounds, but it also has great amenities that make it easier for you and your partner to get ready on site. This is such a great venue for a modern yet rustic wedding day!
Denver Botanic Gardens + Bigsbys Folly
Denver Botanic Gardens is a stunning location for your outdoor wedding day! This specific wedding ceremony was held in their romantic gardens and the pictures are truly to die for. The ceremony site that you see below is one of the property’s largest areas! The entire area is filled with gorgeous trees, flower blooms galore, and immaculate garden details. It even has a cute pond that makes for a great photo op!
You can also host your reception at Denver Botanic Gardens, but if you’re looking for a change of scenery, then you can head over to Bigsbys Folly for your epic reception instead! Bigsbys Folly is a craft winey that is inspired by the roaring 20s. With Bigsbys Folly being in RiNo, only about 5 miles away from Denver Botanic Gardens, it is a great spot to have your after party or reception so you can celebrate all night long! They have outdoor areas for mingling, as well as plenty of indoor space for your dance party. These two are definitely a match made in heaven so you can have two awesome locations in one day!
Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms in Littleton
Chatfield Farms is an offshoot of the Denver Botanic Gardens, located in Littleton! This cute modern barn style venue is perfect for your outdoor wedding. A fun fact about this romantic wedding venue is that it is a working farm and native plant refuge! This venue has endless beautiful wildflower gardens and trails for your guests to roam around and explore during cocktail hour. This spot is ideal for a couple that is looking for a quaint, peaceful and gorgeous outdoor location to say their I Do’s!
River Bend In Lyons, Colorado
River Bend in Lyons, Colorado is a quaint, intimate, and naturally beautiful outdoor wedding venue near Denver! Not only does this wedding venue host pretty weddings, but it’s also a working organic farm called Lyons Farmette! River Bend has an expansive outdoor wedding ceremony and reception space that is surrounded by red stone cliffs and lush trees! One of my favorite parts of this venue is the ceremony location because of the beautiful backdrop! I mean, just look at it… Who wouldn’t want to say their I Do’s here? When I say that this venue has it all, I really do mean it! There are so many spots for beautiful wedding photos at this venue, from the red stone background and river, to the magical reception tent, and even a bonfire pit for when it gets chilly at night. It truly has everything you could want and more to create a magical day for you and your partner, with gorgeous photos to remember the day forever.
Love From My Clients | Wedding Venues In Denver
“Picking a photographer for your wedding is probably one of the hardest decisions to make during the planning process. You want someone you can trust, whose aesthetic matches yours, and a photographer with the ability to make you and your partner feel comfortable in front of the camera, especially for an entire day. Dani encapsulated all those qualities!”
“After meeting her over the phone and then soon after at our engagement session, I immediately knew that she was our match-made in photography heaven. She quickly put us at ease, making an experience that I anticipated to be awkward, really fun.”
“During our wedding day, she found the perfect location for our first look, captured all the best moments in an organic manner, and her style is timeless – one where you can look back decades from now and still feel all the feels”
Wedding Venues In Denver From Dani Haims, An Inclusive Colorado Intimate Wedding Photographer
When capturing weddings, I try to capture a mix of little details and candid moments of my clients having fun with their guests and family! I do this so you can have a really beautiful well rounded wedding gallery that feels genuine and true to who you and your partner are! And, I try to keep the “formal” photos as quick, engaging and seamless as possible! To top it off, I love an epic dance party!! All in all, my main goal is to let people be themselves and enjoy their day. I don’t want it to feel like an all day photoshoot, so I often have a more documentary/photo journalistic approach when possible so that I capture genuine moments.
